Richard I. Cooper, age 54 of Hamilton, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Friday, March 4, 2016. He was born in Clearwater, FL on October 4, 1961 to Robert and Amelia (Heisler) Cooper. Richard was employed at Watson Gravel for many years. He was an avid fisherman, Miami Dolphins, Nascar, and wrestling fan.

He is survived by his fiancée, Tammy Ernst, his siblings, Mary Jane Cooper and William Cooper, his daughter, Heather (Andrew) Jacobs, and his grandchildren, Natalie and Brandon Jacobs, his niece and nephew, Ruby and Fred Such. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, William Ernst.

Memorial service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave, on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 12 Noon. Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 11AM-12 Noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
