Richard A. McDonald Jr.

Richard Allen McDonald Jr., age 81 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. He was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on October 10, 1944 the son of Richard Allen Sr. and Betty (French) McDonald. Richard was employed as an assembler for General Electric for numerous years before his retirement. He was a Veteran of Vietnam with the United States Army.

Richard is survived by his son, David (Tracy) McDonald; two grandsons, Joshua and Noah McDonald; four siblings, Linda Bacher, Jim (Dale) McDonald, George (Sandy) McDonald, and Steve McDonald; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Karen (Meier) McDonald and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
