Richard Wayne Mesler

Richard Wayne Mesler, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. Richard was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 27, 1956 to Myron Mesler and Mary Pauline (nee Tolley) Davis. Richard went to Ross and Talawanda Schools, where he met numerous friends. He was a real-estate professional for 41 years. Richard became the owner of Pauline Davis Realty after his mother retired. Richard was known for his humor and his love for his family and friends. He will be forever missed by many.

Richard is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharen (nee McCormick) Mesler; his children, Rebecca Lynn Slusher, Christopher (Heather) Bowling, Lisa Renee (Tyler Vonstein) Marcum, and Mary Lauren (Brandon) Mayer; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Partin, Morgan, Gracie, and Gavin Slusher, McKenzie Isbell and Colton Bowling, Austin and Cody Marcum, and Evrhett Mayer; his brothers, Larry, Jeff, Mike, Mark, Mitch, and Marty Mesler; many other loving nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kendra Schlichter.

Service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
