Richard L. "Dick" Minor

Richard L. "Dick" Minor, age 58, of New Miami passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Thursday June 17, 2010. He was born in Hamilton on February 16, 1952 the son of Ray D. and Geneva H. (Thomas) Minor. An Army veteran serving from 1969-1972. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for over 25 years. He was formerly a police officer for New Miami and St. Clair Townships. On July 26, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married Denise Flenner.

He is survived by his wife Denise Minor of New Miami; a son Jeff Minor of Washington D.C.; a daughter Brianne Young of Hamilton; two step-daughters Stephanie Flenner of Richmond, KY, and Angela Newton of New Miami; two granddaughters Olivia and Savannah; two brothers Bob (Sonja) Minor of Madison, IN, and Mike (Lynn) Minor of San Mateo, FL; a sister Vicky Caldwell of San Mateo, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home 330 Pershing Ave. on Monday from 6-8PM. Cremation will follow.
