Richard M. Moore

Richard M. Moore, age 62 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 2:25 PM. He was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on August 1, 1946 the eldest son of Russell and Pauline (Johnson) Moore. Richard attended the Hamilton City Schools and was employed as a janitor for The Salvation Army. He was a member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. He loved his family, church, and his many friends.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Moore of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; his sister, Paula (Ron) Bryant of Hamilton; seven nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard will be missed by his many special friends at Caring Hearts. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Witt of Faith Pentecostal Church of Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The family would liked to extend a heartfelt thanks to his caregivers, Debbie and Jennifer, who took care of his special needs after the death of his parents.
