Richard A. Sharp

Richard A. Sharp, age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, August 22, 2026. He was born in Winchester, Kentucky on November 4, 1955 the son of Tipton and Anna Lee (Watcher) Sharp. In 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio he married Velma Watts. Rick was avid Nascar, UK, Dodgers, and Steelers fan.

Rick is survived by his wife, Velma Sharp; two daughters, Sharon Sharp and Tami Whalen; seven grandchildren, Brittany Whalen, Parker Whalen, Joseph Sharp, Abbi Whalen, Devin Rogers, Kacey Nelson, and Rylee Nelson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Steve Sharp.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
