Rita C. Hileman

Rita C. Hileman, age 94 of Somerville, passed away at Woodlands Country Manor on Sunday, June 23, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on April 10, 1919 to Timothy and Clara (Renners) Hoelle. On July 1, 1939 at St. Veronica’s Church in Hamilton she married Elmer Hileman, and they were happily married for 62 years. Rita was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was devoted to the family farming business, and loved her card clubs.

She is survived by by two daughters, Janet (Ron) Handley, and Mary Lou (Jim) Fening; four sons, Jim (Mickey) Hileman, Neil (Carolyn) Hileman, Dick (Mary) Hileman, and Steve (Jane) Hileman; a daughter-in-law, Becky Hileman; 20 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis (Arthur) Wyrick; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Hoelle, Rita Hoelle, and Dorothy Hileman; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by by her husband, Elmer Hileman; two sons, Charles and Daniel Hileman; 4 granddaughters; a great-grandson; her parents; and 4 brothers, Robert, Timothy, Carl, and Neil Hoelle.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Name Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, OH on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Thomas McCarthy celebrant. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.
