Rita Alice Rhodes, age 52 of Hamilton passed away at University Hospital, Cincinnati, on Monday, May 12, 2008. She was born in Hamilton on April 5, 1956 the daughter of Roger Allen and Ritamary (Krabacher) Frybarger. Rita was employed at Ohio Casualty and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Heather (Brandon Hughes) Simon; two grandchildren, Abigail Simon and Landas Hughes; her mother, Ritamary Frybarger; and two brothers, Raymond A. (Sherry Chafin) Frybarger and James B. Frybarger. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Pastor L. Keith Spencer of First Baptist Church of Trenton and Dr. Richard Rhodis of West Side Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will be 11AM Friday, in St. Stephen’s Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to West Side Baptist Church.
