Robert E. "Bob" Baker

Robert E. Baker, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on July 15, 1933 to Elbert and Clemma (Gabbard) Baker. On November 27, 1953 in Hamilton he married Patricia Logsdon. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Bob was retired from Ford Motor Company, where he worked for 30 years. He was devoted to his family, and was an avid UK fan.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Baker; daughters, Rhonda Rose, and Lisa (Kevin) Bowman; grandchildren, Lindsey (Mike) Himmler, Justin Rose, Zachary Rose, Brittney (Aaron) Briggs, and Erin (Jared) Magness; great grandchildren, Westley Himmler, Evy Himmler, and Madelyn Briggs; sisters, Irene Abrams, Ruth Richardson, Barbara Brittain, and Lucy Flannery; and a brother, Carl Baker. He was preceded in death by a brother, Levi Baker; sister, Zelma Baker; and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
