Robert J. (Bob) Bresnen

Robert (Bob) J. Bresnen, age 57 of Hamilton, passed away at home on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 4:05AM. He was born in Cincinnati on November 12, 1956 to Martin and Jean (Shroyer) Bresnen. Robert was a self-employed contractor and also worked at Fort Hamilton Hospital. He played baseball for Moeller High School, Miami University, and also the Detroit Tigers. He was a member of Queen of Peace Parrish.

He is survived by his wife Billie Jo Bresnen; two children, Derek R. (Crystal) Bresnen and Paige N. Bresnen; mother, Jean (Shroyer) Bresnen; brothers, Mike and Jim Bresnen; one sister, Kathy Kishpaugh; nieces and nephews, Brian (Jen) Kishpaugh, and Lauren Kishpaugh, Alex and Andrew Kraus. He was preceded in death by his father Martin M. Bresnen.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 5PM - 8PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Ave, on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10AM with Father James Wedig celebrant. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Bob Bresnen Fund c/o Fort Hamilton Hospital for Bob Bresnen Moeller Scholarship, and to Vitas Hospice.
