Robert G. "Bob" Davis

Robert G. "Bob" Davis, age 52 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 12:02 PM. He was born in Hamilton on November 24, 1958 the son of Paul "Shorty" and Clara Mae (Davis) Davis. Bob was employed as an ER technician at Ft. Hamilton Hospital for the past 14 years. He was a member of New Life Vineyard Church and was an avid bowler. Bob had an uplifting spirit for those in need, devoting his time to Serve City and the Food Pantry.

He is survived by three brothers, Paul (Pam) Davis of Hamilton, Joe Davis of Fairfield, and Mike (Gina) Davis of Hamilton; two sisters, Donna (Tom) Morscher of Hamilton and Pam (Doug) Wooten of Hamilton; a dear friend, Denise Pohlman of Hamilton; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Yvonne Disney; a nephew, Raymond Disney; and a sister-in-law, Linda Davis.

Funeral service will be held at the New Life Vineyard Church, 2470 Princeton Road, on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Kenneth Ritz officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be directed to the New Life Vineyard Church, 2470 Princeton Road, Hamilton, 45011. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Doctors, ICU, and ER Staff at Fort Hamilton Hospital for all their loving care and support.
