Robert D. Gilreath, age 27 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012. He was born in Cincinnati on July 31, 1985 the son of Dan and Kathy (Viox) Gilreath. Robbie was employed by his Grandfather’s founding business, Viox Services and surrounded by many loving co-workers.
He is survived by his beloved, Rachel Geil. She is and always will be special to Robbie’s Family; devoted mother, Kathy (Steve) Aker; his loving father, Dan (Deanna) Gilreath; dear siblings, Nikki (Jerry) Schock, Ryan (Kate) Gilreath and Chad Herold; Cherished Grandmothers and Grandfathers, Pat Viox, Ruth Gilreath and Curtis Aker. Robbie adored his nieces and nephews - Tyler, Zoey, Mya and Alexis; Robbie leaves behind a legacy of 56 loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his devout grandfathers, Ray Gilreath and Ray Viox.
Robbie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He graduated in 2004 from Badin High School and attended Wright State University. He was the life of every gathering. His smile and spirit would light up the room and he made everyone laugh and smile. Once you met Robbie you would never forget him and you knew you had a friend for life. Robbie was an avid fan of music and sports – especially Notre Dame, Ohio State and North Carolina.
A visitation will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, at 11:00 AM on January 4, 2013. Burial to take place in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
