Robert "Chuck" Haverland

Robert (Chuck) Haverland age 76 of Fairfield Ohio passed away peacefully at his home June 21, 2022 surrounded by his family. Robert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 19, 1946 to the late Robert H. Haverland and Eula B. Mathis. He was raised in Glendale, Ohio and graduated from Princeton High School where he was an all star football player.

Robert served in Vietnam War in 1967-1969 with the US Army. He was a printing pressman at International Paper he retired in 2000 after 34 years.

Robert is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharon; five children Amy (Lyle) York, Bryan (Katy) Haverland, Bobby (Stacey) Smith, Michelle Smith and Jessica (Marc) Fox. Robert was a loving papaw to ten grandchildren, Cassie (Chris) Esposito, Erica York, Becca York, Brady Williamson, Ashley Williamson, Mitch Haverland, Roman Smith, Hailey Fox, Savannah Fox and Leighton Fox and one great granddaughter Sophia Haverland. Survived by one sister Dianna Haverland and two brothers Ken (June) Haverland and Donald (Donna) Haverland and the late William (Rose) Haverland. He leaves behind lots of niece’s, nephews, family and friends.

Robert was a devoted hunter and fisherman with countless trophy deer mounts. He loved to share all his hunting and fishing stories to anyone that would listen. He enjoyed anything outdoors like golf, corn hole, hillbilly golf and watching his grandchildren in numerous sports.

A celebration of life will be held at the Council Bluff Shelter at Sharon Woods on July 10, 2022 at 12:30PM.
