Robert L. Krause

Robert L. Krause, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away at his residence on Friday, June 5, 2015. He was born in Kewanee, Illinois on September 18, 1925 to Chester and Edithe (Brose) Krause. On April 1, 2000 he married Carolyn Hoover and enjoyed 15 years together. Robert served in the United States Navy during WWII. He was employed with IBEW Local 648 as an electrician for 40 years. Robert was active in Moose Lodge 36, Eagles 407, American Legion 199, 40 & 8 Veterans Organization and Veteran of Foreign Wars. Robert especially enjoyed gardening, growing roses in his yard and traveling.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, children Lorraine Krause, (TN), Robert Krause Jr., (FL), Randy (Nancy) Marshall, (IN), Rank (Ronda) Marshall, (ID), Ravonda Marshall, (IN) and Ronda (Eugene) Crawford, (IN); 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; daughter in law Charlene Marshall (IN); and numerous nieces, nephews and other family memebers.He was preceeded in death by his parents, sister Harriett Cirttendon, son Rome Marshall and four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
