Robert J. Link, Jr.

Robert J. Link Jr., age 78 of Hamilton passed away in Butler County Care Facility on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 5:30 AM. He was born in Hamilton on October 31, 1928, the son of Frank and Bessie (Stroud) Link. Bob was a 1947 graduate of Fairfield High School and attended Sinclair College; was a Veteran of the Korean War with the United States Army from 1949 to 1952; and was a member of the Bible Way Missionary Church. He was the owner-operator of Link’s TV Sales and Repair for thirty-one years retiring in 1989. On November 1, 1952 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, he was married to Dorsey Stivers. He is survived by his wife, Dorsey Link of Hamilton; two sons, Robert Michael (Sandy) Link of Fairfield and Mark Alan (Laura) Link of Milwaukee,Wisconsin; two daughters, Carmen Link of Springfield, Ohio and Sharon Link of Monroe, Ohio; one sister, Marguerite Gray of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren, Kim, Kati, Kris, Lois and Lana and four great-grandchildren, Logan, Paige, Emma and Jonathan. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Steven Link in 1961 and three brothers, Earl, Albert and Sherman Link and one sister, Geraldine Lipps. Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Terry Zeller, Pastor of the Bible Way Missionary Church officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to the Bible Way Missionary Church.
