Robert C. Lubbers, age 30 of Fairfield passed away at his residence on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 7:30 PM. He was born in Hamilton on June 17, 1978 the son of Charles and Joan (Hobing) Lubbers. Robert was employed as an executive assistant manager for Walgreen’s. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and playing poker in the garage with his friends.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Joan Lubbers of Hamilton; a brother, Chad (Susan) Lubbers of Hopkins, Minnesota; a sister, Cindy Lubbers of Hamilton; nephew and niece, Sam and Ellie Lubbers of Minnesota; cherished girlfriend, Dawn Quinn of Fairfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and wonderful and fun-loving friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Mary Lubbers, and Robert and Agnes Hobing.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Catholic Church, 3028 Pleasant Avenue, on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4460 Lake Forest Dr., Cincinnati 45242 or to Autism Society of America, 7910 Woodmont Ave., Suite #300, Bethesda, MD 20814-3067.
