Robert "Bruce" Mcdaniel

Robert "Bruce" McDaniel, age 60 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 12:45 AM. He was born in Hamilton on August 22, 1950 the son of James and Joeann (Neece) McDaniel. Bruce was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam Era from 1968 to 1971. He was a lifetime member of the DAV #15, American Legion post # 138, Fairfield VFW, Carpenter’s Union, and was a Kentucky Colonel. On March 23, 1973 in Hamilton he married Sandy Hatton.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy McDaniel of Hamilton; a son, William (Vicki) Riley of Alabama; two daughters, Lori (John) Reinhardt of Okeana and Janna Riley of Independence, Kentucky; four brothers, James McDaniel, Mike (Glenna) McDaniel, both of Alabama, Joe (Lois) McDaniel of Hamilton, and James McDaniel Jr. of Athens, Ohio; four sisters, Bridgette (Lucky) Jarvis of Hamilton, Kelly McDaniel of Zaleski, Ohio, Paula McDaniel of Ross, Ohio, and Debbie McDaniel of Washington; a brother-in-law, Randy (Vicki) Hatton of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister-in-law, Linda Campos of Hamilton; and four grandchildren, Katie, Autumn, Jessie, and Billy. He was preceded in death by his parents, James McDaniel and Joeann Gentry.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 12:00 noon with Rev. Elby Harrison of Harvest Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
