Robert P. Ellis

Robert P. Ellis, age 72 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Bob was born in Mount Healthy, Ohio on August 4, 1949, to Robert J. and Betty Jane (Vedder) Ellis. Bob graduated from Badin High School in 1968. On November 20, 1971, he married Gina Combs.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gina Ellis; his sons Sean (Krista) Ellis, and their three children, Ashleigh, Kenneth, and Jayna; his son Shad (Nichole) and their son Kalel. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Bob grew up in Fairfield, Ohio and met his beloved wife Gina at their place of employment. They were married on November 20, 1971. Gina began to study the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and Bob soon joined her. They were baptized together on March 11, 1974. They lived in Hamilton, Ohio where their two sons were born. Then in 1984 they moved to Indiana and built a home on the family farm where they raised their sons. They moved back to Hamilton, Ohio in 1995. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Bob ran his own business "Captain Cleenup" for several years and worked at Hamilton Sorter as a CNC Machinist. He retired in 2015 and began pioneering with his wife until the time of his death.

Anyone who knew Bob would attest to Bob's happy demeanor, he was always happy. He loved to help others. He was the happiest when carrying out his spiritual assignments. He was always willing to help his friends and family. Bob didn't keep his happiness to himself, he loved to make others smile whether by teasing, joking, a silly dance or sabotaging whatever game you were playing! Bob was confident in the Bible's promises for our future including an end to death and the hope of a resurrection.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2044 West Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM.
