Robert Lee Parsley

Robert Lee Parsley, age 56 of Overpeck, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 7:45 PM. Bob was born in Hamilton on July 14, 1958, the son of Robert S. and Priscilla (Robinson) Parsley. He was a 1976 graduate of New Miami High School. He was employed as a Millwright General Foreman for Graycor after retiring from AK Steel. Bob was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and the Miami Valley Woodcarvers Association. On April 7, 1978 in Hamilton he married Betty Cameron.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Parsley of Overpeck; one son, Ryan Michael (Jennifer) Parsley; one granddaughter, Adelaide Parsley; his father, Robert S. Parsley; Bobby (Sherry) Cameron, Connie (Tony) Webb, Lee Cameron, Ronald Fallert, Joyce Vaughn, Betty Anglin (Jack) Ledbetter, Minnie (Daniel) Adamson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla Parsley; John Martin; father-in-law, Lloyd Cameron, Robin Fallert, and Ricky Cameron.

Graveside service will be held at Hickory Flat Cemetery on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
