Robert Wayne (Robby) Philpot

Robert Wayne (Robby) Philpot, age 48 of Hamilton, was born December 19, 1958 to Barbara and Clarence Philpot. He departed this life on Friday, September 14, 2007 following a lengthy illness. Robby was a long-time employee at Verst Trucking.

He leaves behind to cherish his special memories his mother, Barbara Philpot; the love of his life and soulmate Tina Philpot; two daughters he loved so dearly, Mandy Tribbey and Trish (David) Purvis; five very special and adored grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, and Haley Hagar, and Hannah and Emily Purvis; brothers Garey (Tammy) Saylor and Eddie Philpot; sister Mary Beth Philpot; sister-in-law, Sandra Philpot; special nephews Josh and Brandon Philpot and two nieces Brandi Philpot and Alicia Philpot; as well as numerous additional nieces and nephews; loving and caring mother-in-law, Mildred Lawson; uncle Garey (Carol) Noe; and special friends Randy, Ida, Charlie, and Mark, among others. He was preceded in death by his best friends and brothers, Danny Philpot and Ricky Philpot; one beautiful and special grandchild, Isaiah Jones; grandparents Mary and Cyril Noe and Henry and Violet Philpot; and close friend Robert Hatmaker.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Gardner of the Cornerstone Apostolic Church officiating. A private burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Robby’s family would like to thank Dr. Kathleen Alter and the staff at Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise for their care and support.
