Robert C. Redman

Robert C. Redman, age 89 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Robert was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on August 16, 1934 to Clarence Redman and Marie Alice (Zercie) Redman. He graduated from Canandaigua Academy in Canandaigua, NY and Miami University in Oxford, OH. Robert served 2 years in the United States Army, and he spent most of his career in retail sales and management. He was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus as a Past Grand Knight and 4th Degree Faithful Navigator in Canandaigua, NY. Robert also served on the Canandaigua School Board for 5 years. He was an avid sports fan throughout his life.

Robert is survived by his children, Thomas (Theresa) Redman, David (Lisa) Redman, R. Terrence (Amy) Redman and Nanci (Vinny Clements) Redman; grandchildren, Amanda (Blake), Sarah (Jeremy), Lauren (Matt), Dimi (Ethan), Samual, Matthew and Julia; great-grandchildren, James, Whitney, Madison and Hailey; brothers, Donald (Mary Ruth) Redman and Thomas (Mary) Redman; sister-in-law, Sue Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 64 years, Barbara A. Redman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 224 Dayton St., Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, October  9, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Richard Walling officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October  9, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church.  Memorial contributions can be made to a charity or organization of your choice.
