Robert R. Rich Sr.

Robert R. Rich Sr., age 78 of Somerville, passed away at his home in Port Richey, Florida on Monday, November 23, 2015. He was born in Cincinnati on June 12, 1937 to William and Florence (Carson) Rich. On March 3, 1956 in Liberty, IN he married Virginia Bailey. Robert was owner of Robert Rich Excavating for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling with his granddaughters and family, motorcycle rallies, and operating heavy equipment. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Rich; children, Robert (Sharon) Rich Jr., and Teresa (Rodney) Kolb; grandchildren, Amber (Jared) Carey, Ashley Rich, Kayla Kolb, and Kirsten Kolb; great grandchildren, Alyssa Hornsby, Keelan and Gracynn Carey; 3 sisters, Betty (Jim) Campbell, Jean Catron, Bonnie Cosby. He was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Rich; and his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Dan Knisley officiating. Burial will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
