Robert C. "Bob" Schick

Robert C. "Bob" Schick, age 82 of Hamilton passed away at Glen Meadows on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 9:12 PM. He was born in Hamilton on February 19, 1925 the son of Louis and Emma (Poppel) Schick. Bob was employed as an electrician for Fisher Body for thirty years, retiring in 1985. On August 9, 1945 in Newport, Kentucky he was married to Rosemary Cates, and she preceded him in death in 2005.

He is survived by two sons, Robert S. Schick and Harold L. Schick, both of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Holly (Doug) Fritz, Bobbie Jane Schick, and Stephen Schick; and two great-grandchildren, D.J. Fritz and Natalee Ann Fritz; and two sisters-in-law, Virgie Schick and Wanda Schick, both of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William, Richard, and Thomas Schick.

Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Zehler, pastor of the Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Venice Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
