Robert Snodgrass

Robert Andrew Snodgrass, age 69 of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 9, 2015. He was born in Hamilton on September 21, 1946 to George and Ann (Riegler) Snodgrass. Robert was loving and caring father, husband, and friend to many. He served in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1969 serving his country on the USS Ogden. Upon leaving the Navy, Robert worked for the CSX Railroad as section foreman and car inspector, retiring in 1991. He was an active member of the 1213 club, Alcoholic Anonymous which he helped to start. Robert was a mentor and sponsor to many and a friend to all. He is survived by his son, Bryan Snodgrass; a brother, John (Donna) Snodgrass. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn K. Snodgrass in 2002; and his parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in his honor.
