Roberta Brown

Roberta Ann Brown – born January 14, 1927 in St. Leon, Indiana, daughter of Carl & Mary (Horner) Wilhelm. Wife of the late Merrill F. Brown (deceased in 1998). Mother of Judy Milillo, Susan Stapf, and Carol Brown (deceased in 1988). Grandmother of Anne Marie Rekow, Carolyn Geise, and Katie Hammann. Great Grandmother to Aubry Peak, Lily and Carol Rekow, and Cora and Lane Geise. She is also survived by her sister Bernice Nelson and brother Carl Wilhelm. She survived her sister Easter (Wilhelm) Cross and Brothers Robert, Stan, and Irven.

Roberta graduated from Ross High School in 1945 and then attended Butler County Business College. Worked in the offices of Champion Papers for 10 years and in the offices at Fernald Project for 25 years. After retirement, she and her husband spent their winters in Florida. She loved gardening, crossword puzzles and could not be beat in a game of Scrabble. She was a very generous person and she had a delightful sense of humor! Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
