Roger L. Clark, age 65, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 15, 2011. He was born in Long Beach, California on April 8, 1946 the son of Millard and Alice (Sanderson) Clark. Roger was a 23 year veteran of the U. S. Army retiring as a Sergeant Major. He was employed the past 12 years at Butler County Job and Family Services. Roger was also an agility instructor at Unleashed Agility in West Chester and a member of Hamilton Christian Center where he held the office of Elder.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela L. (Sheard) Clark; three sons, Jason, Daniel, and Christopher; a daughter, Sarah; a step-son Joshua (Ashley); a step-daughter, Amanda; a sister, Marianne (Herb) Huestis; three brothers, David (Sylvia) Clark, Wendell (Jeannie) Clark, and Warren (Lori) Clark; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service will be held at Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Ave., on Friday, May 20th at 12 noon with Pastor Johnny Wade Sloan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 AM till 12 noon. Roger was an influence for the good in the lives of all that knew him. He will be missed.
