Roger Grimes

Roger Grimes, age 77 of Somerville, passed away at Kettering Medical Center on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. He was born in Perry County on October 7, 1945, to Cecil Grimes and Mable (Combs) Grimes.

Roger is survived by his wife, Janice Grimes; brother, Joe (Betty) Grimes; his nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, family and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mable Grimes; brothers, Raymond and Ray Grimes; sister, Hannah Maupins.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Free Pentecostal Pater Ave Church of God. Funeral service will be held at Free Pentecostal Pater Ave Church of God, Hamilton, on Tuesday, August  1, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Denny Matheny of Free Pentecostal Pater Ave Church of God, officiating.  Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.
