Roland E. "Rollie" Arent

Roland E. "Rollie" Arent, age 71, passed away on July 16, 2017. Rollie was born on August 21, 1945 in Hamilton, Ohio to Ruthada & VanLou Arent. His parents have preceded him in death as well as his only brother Wayne (Buddy) Arent. He is survived by his two daughters, Rhonda Arent, of Arizona, and Chelsea Mariah Arent, of Hamilton; and his granddaughter, Courtni Price, of Arizona. He also leaves behind a niece that he felt was "like a daughter" to him, Tonia (Arent) Johnson, of Florida, as well as a nephew Charles Arent, of Georgia.

Rollie was in the United States Navy from 1963 - 1969 and did a tour in Vietnam. He was a member of the AMVETS, Eagles, VFW, The Moose & The Monkeys. He loved camping, boating, corvettes and his Harley Davidson. Rollie had Chelsea late in life and she was the "apple of his eye".

Visitation will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 6:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral service to follow at 7:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held the following day, Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 10:30AM at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Queen City Hospice.
