Roland Deaton, age 81 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Sunday, May 19, 2019. Roland was born in Krypton, Kentucky on March 3, 1938 to Midas and Mae (Witt) Deaton. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing horseshoes.
Roland is survived by his daughters, Leslie (Jeff) Twardowski and Tracey (Mark) Cunningham; his grandchildren, Thomas and Michael Twardowski; his brother, Jimmy Deaton; his sisters, Trixie (Cleve) Holmes, Shirley (Charlie) Merrill, Wilma (Sonny) Ching, Pauline Taulbee, and Martha Pearl Deaton. Roland was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Deaton; his brothers, Donald and Carl Deaton; and his parents.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 12:00 PM Br. Gary Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
