Ronald L. Anders Sr.

Ronald L. Anders Sr., age 66 of Hamilton passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 5:19 AM. He was born in Hamilton on January 28, 1942 the son of Velmer and Eula (Gentry) Anders. Ronald was a veteran of the USAF from 1961-1965. He was employed by Formica for twelve years, retiring in 2004. Ronald was a life member of the Amvets 1983, where he was Past Commander, and also a member of the Moose Lodge 36.

He is survived by two children, Ronald L. (Diane) Anders Jr. of Fairfield and Kimdolyn Meadows of Franklin; two brothers, Edward (Sherry) Anders of Hamilton and William Anders of London, Kentucky; two sisters, Carolyn Sue (Patrick) Lewis of Alabama and Mary (Ed) Griffin of Atlanta, Georgia; four granddaughters, Jasmine Griffin, Holly Mayse, Ashley Anders, and Amy Hall; six great-grandchildren; and his loving companion, Edith Gravitt of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
