Ronald Lee Combs, age 61 of Hamilton passed away at Ft. Hamilton Hospital on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 12:40 AM. He was born in Dayton, Kentucky on July 24, 1947 the son of Delbert and Edna (Stamper) Combs. Ronald was employed at Union Central Life Insurance Company for 27 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Lindenwald Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Combs of Hamilton; a sister, Wilma Jean (Joseph) Bongiorno of Chicago, Illinois; a nephew, Joseph Bongiorno; and three nieces, Donna (David) Capron, Carol Rosch, and Nancy Bongiorno. He was preceded in death by his father; three sisters, Joan, Jeanett, and Judy Combs; and a nephew, Ricky Hulley.
Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 11:30 AM with Pastor Ira Mills of Lindenwald Church of God officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
