Ronald Eversole

Ronald Eversole, age 64 of Hamilton passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 4:30 PM. He was born in Hamilton on September 23, 1943 the son of Robert and Vicie (Smith) Eversole. Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1983, including the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service for 17 years, retiring in 2002. On March 9, 1962 in Hamilton he married Martha Philpot. He is survived by his wife, Martha Eversole of Hamilton; four sons, Tony Dale (Sherry) Eversole of Cincinnati, Ronald James Eversole of Hamilton, Robert Raymond (Paula) Eversole of North Port, Florida, and Edward Wayne (Michelle) Eversole of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren, Candis S. Shelton, Miranda P. Eversole, Deborah R. Pickron, Melissa L. Eversole, Ronald J. Eversole II, Andrew L. Eversole, Allison K. Eversole, and Lily Rose Eversole; seven great-grandchildren, Madison Pickron, Elliott Matter, Chloe Pickron, Ronnie Shelton, Michael Shelton, Mason Eversole, and William McIlvain; a brother, Donald Eversole of Hamilton; and a sister-in-law, Roberta (David) Chafin of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Chester B. Eversole and Robert Eversole Jr. Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Walt Philpot of Freedom Chapel Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
