Ronald Gentry

Ronald Gentry, age 74 of Gratis, formerly of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Dayton on Wednesday, July 14, 2021. Ronald was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 10, 1946 to James Earl Gentry and Louise (Owens) Gentry.  On June 10, 1972 in Hamilton, he married Shirley Turner, and she preceded him in death in 2009.  Ronald lived his last 10 years with Michelle Childers, where they enjoyed vacationing, being with family, and visiting lots of car shows together.

Ronald is survived by his son, Aaron Gentry; his granddaughter, Hannah Gentry; his companion, Michelle Childers; and his siblings, Arthur Gentry, Donald Gentry, Douglas Gentry, Greg Gentry, James Earl Gentry Jr., Luther Ray Gentry, Mary Wicke; and many other nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl Gentry and Louise Gentry; and his sister, Shirley George.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Earl Gentry Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.  www.browndawsonflick.com
