Ronald Lee Hocker

Ronald Lee Hocker, age 68 of Hamilton, passed away at UC Medical Center on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Ronald was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 28, 1948 to Bill Gene and Eldora Mae (Tabor) Hocker. Ronald served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1970. On June 22nd, 1974, he married Kathleen Caldwell at the Antioch Baptist Church in Williamsdale. Ronald was a member of the Redeemer Baptist Church, formerly Antioch Baptist Church. He worked at Wright Burnett Brush Factory for 28 years.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathleen Hocker; his sons, Eric (Christina) Hocker and Randall Hocker; his grandchildren, Shayla, Greg Jr., Madison, and Mason; his 3 great grandchildren; his siblings, Vicky, Shirley, Lisa, and Philip; and many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Gregory Hocker; and his grandparents.

Funeral service will be held at Redeemer Baptist Church, 3751 Trenton Road, Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Richard Coldiron officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home in his son’s name, Gregory Lee Hocker.
