Ronald Neil Lawson, age 62 of Fairfield passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 7:04 PM. He was born in Hamilton on November 1, 1947 the son of Cecil Lawson and Gladys G. (Johnson) Hobbs. Neil was a member of Hamilton Moose Lodge #36.
He is survived by two sons, Brian (Krista Saller) Lawson and Neil Lawson, both of Hamilton; one grandchild, Jordyn; two nieces, Pam Pendergrass of Hamilton and special niece Jeanette Ober of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Lawson and Gladys G. Hobbs, and a sister, Darlene Joyce Coldiron.
Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dana Pendergrass officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
