Ronald L. Mardis Sr.

Ronald L. Mardis Sr., age 70 of Hamilton, passed away at Bethesda Butler on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Ronald was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on January 5, 1948 to Homer Earl Mardis and Jaunita (Gutherie) Mardis. On December 28, 1966 in Hamilton he married Elizabeth M. Frazier, and she preceded him in death in 2014.

Ronald is survived by his children, Ronald L. (Lisa) Mardis Jr., Joseph T. (Yvonne) Mardis, Homer E. (Tonya) Mardis, and Linda (Nathan) Martin; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Dorothy Schrenk, Ethel Puckett, Marie Densil, Ruth Ann Mardis. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; Homer Earl Mardis and Jaunita Mardis; his spouse, Elizabeth M. Mardis; a son, Albert D. Mardis; and two grandsons, Matthew E. Mardis, and Nathan E. Martin III.

Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Wendell Coning officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
