Ronald Payne

Ronald Payne, age 71 of Estero, Florida, formerly of Hamilton, passed away in Ft. Meyers, Florida on Friday, December 10, 2010. He was born in Berea, Kentucky on August, 6, 1939 the son of Walter and Della (Baker) Payne. Ronald was raised in Hamilton and was a 1957 graduate of Hamilton High School. Ronald was a member of the Moose Lodge and also previously worked as the club manager.

He is survived by four children, Rhonda Royse of Fairfield, Deborah Wohr (Charles) of Colorado, Scott Payne (Laura) of California, and Roni Lynn Payne-Barnicki of California; one sister, Donna S. (Clyde) Huffman of Estero, Florida; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
