Ronnie "Moose" Durham

Ronnie "Moose" Durham, age 65 Mt. Orab, Ohio passed away at University of Cincinnati Hospital on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 5:50 PM. He was born in Hamilton on August 8, 1943 the son of Clyde Virgil Sr. and Bonnie Darlene (Terry) Durham. Ronnie retired from Armco after 30 years’ service in 1992. In Wisconsin, he served as a fireman and assistant fire chief of the Alvin Fire Department. Ronnie was a member of Mt. Orab United Methodist Church. On September 21, 1963 in Hamilton he married Edna Faye Norton.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Faye Durham of Mt. Orab; a son, Rickie Lee (Priscilla) Durham of Princeton, West Virginia; a daughter, Robin Lynn (Mark) Volkman of Liberty Township; a grandson, Dalton Wade Helton of Ross; a brother, Clyde Virgil (Janice) Durham Jr. of Trenton; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Donna Jean Wilsman; and a grandson, Brandon Michael Durham.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Robbie Scott of Mt. Orab United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association.
