Rosalie A. Morris

Rosalie A. Morris, age 76 of Hamilton, passed on Monday, November 20, 2017. Rosaliewas born in Alliance, Ohio on September 4, 1941 to Paul and Reinette Calabria. As a child, she moved to Fairfield, graduating from Fairfield High School where she met her husband of 55 years. Rosalie worked at Fairfield Senior High School for 42 years. She was active in the alumni association and community.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, Hiram Jay Morris; her children, Maria (Jeff) Sullivan, Paul (Cynthia) Morris, Dawn (John) Paquette, and Summer (Tim) Goodwin; her grandchildren, Whitney (fiancé, Jarrett), Jeffrey, Anthony, Kevin (Tanya), Brett, Connor, Emily, Evan, Cooper, Olivia, and Nathan; 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way; her sisters, Paulette, Marta (Lew), Marianne (Brian), Noreen, and Erin (Ed), and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Christy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 4601 Fairfield Ave, Fairfield, Ohio on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Tammy Jo Reiser officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at St. Marks United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fairfield Community Scholarship Foundation in memory of Rosalie Morris, 5350 Pleasant Ave, Fairfield, OH 45014 or St. Marks United Methodist Church.
