Rose M. Minor

Rose M. Minor age 78, of Fairfield passed away in Hospice of Hamilton on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 7:20 AM. She was born in Hamilton on October 25, 1930 the daughter of Andronicus and Emma (Tipton) Durbin. Rose was employed as a beautician and Administrative clerk for Ohio Casualty for fifteen years, retiring in 1993.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Andrew Minor of West Carrollton, Ohio and James (Sue) Minor of Gilbert, Arizona; three daughters, Dorothy (Steve) Greenhalgh of Falls Church, Virginia, Anna (Michael A.) Lawson of Fairfield and Mary Ann (Tom) Schuerman of Milford; three brothers, Merle Durbin of Hamilton, Andy Durbin Jr. of Fairfield, and Patrick Durbin of Hamilton; five sisters, Kathleen Brinkman of Fairfield, Marjorie (Dale) Buffler of Hamilton, Jean Kiwala of Parma, Ohio, Carolyn (Philip) Ohlinger of Seven Mile and Delina Mistler of Fairfield; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Michael, Thomas and Richard Durbin; and one sister, Dorothy Durbin.

Memorial Service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 6:00 PM with President Stephen Greenhalgh of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Inurnment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers family requests memorials to Hospice of Hamilton.
