Roselyn F. Reaves

Roselyn F. Reaves, age 79 of Hamilton, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She was born in Hamilton on January 17, 1934 to Edward and Catherine (Moelder) Wocher. Roselyn was a 1952 graduate of Notre Dame Academy. On September 25, 1954 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church she married Donald G. Reaves, who preceded her in death in 2009. Roselyn worked as a Mary Kay Consultant for 39 years. She was an asst. member of the UFCW Local #1075, volunteered at the election polls for 32 years, and enjoyed gardening, traveling, and playing cards with friends.

She is survived by two sons, Robert T. Reaves Sr. and Kenneth M. (Pam) Reaves; a daughter, Nancy S. (Jurgen) Baucke; grandchildren, Chrissy (Brad) Hurst, Julie Hooper, Matthew (Kristen) Baucke, Jennifer Christy, and Robbie Reaves; 9 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Rita Simmons, Catherine Rindler, and Ruth LoBuona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. "D.G." Reaves; two brothers, Edwin and Albert Wocher; two sisters, Dolores Bach and Imelda Buddo; four brothers-in-law, Fred Simmons, Frank Bach, Dan LoBuona, and Bill Rindler; a sister-in-law, Mary Wocher; and her parents.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter in Chains Catholic Church, 382 Liberty Avenue, on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Fr. Patrick McMullen, celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
