Rosemary Harrison

Rosemary Harrison, age 77 of Fairfield passed away at Atrium Medical Center on Friday, January 21, 2011. She was born in Hamilton on January 22, 1933 the daughter of Owen and Retha (Cox) Hymer. On April 21, 1948 in Hamilton she married Edsel Harrison and he preceded her in death in 1999.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who is survived by five children, Edsel (Lucile) Harrison, Jr. of Hamilton, Mike Harrison of Fairfield, Crystal (Carl) Taylor of Hamilton, Larry Harrison of Hamilton, and Vickie (Jody) Chafin of Middletown; nine grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher, Jarrett, Krista, Kayla, Lindsey, Lauren, Cody, and Haley; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Edward, Ronald, and Alton Hymer, Reva Ullery, Margaret Helton, and Della Elliott.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Riley Parker of Somerville Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
