Rosemary Malone

Rosemary Malone, age 86 of Fairfield passed away at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on April 18, 1921 the daughter of George and Mary Kathryn (Reinhardt) Haaf. Rosemary was employed as a clerk at Meijer for 15 years, retiring in 1986. In 1945 in Portsmouth, she married Bob Malone, and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald (Teri) Malone of Sarasota, Florida and Anthony (Michelle) Malone of Lebanon, Ohio; two daughters, Patricia (Michael) Snyder of Fairfield and Sara (Don) Langdon of Carrollton, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chad, Michael, Matthew, Timi, Kathryn, Christopher, Emily, and Andrew; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Paul Haaf; and a sister, Jo Ann Haaf.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Road, on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
