Roy Fields

Roy Fields, age 58 of Dover, Kentucky, formerly of Hamilton, passed away at Robertson County Health Care Facility on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at 4:30 PM. He was born in Hamilton on August 26, 1948 the son of Martin and Virginia (White) Fields. Roy was employed at the 8-Minute Car Wash for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and horses.

He is survived by one daughter, Tracy (Pat Marchetti) Fields; five grandchildren, Torie, Rebecca, Gracie, Nathan, and Jordan; four stepsons, Stanley (Patty) Fields, Roscoe (Joyce) Fields, Russell (Linda) Fields, and John (Marty) Fields; two stepdaughters, Imogene (Arlo) Barger and Sharon (Gary Taylor) Fields, all of Hamilton; best friends, Patsy Taylor and Lisa (Michael) Tucker of Kentucky; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ora Couch; son, Casey Fields; stepson, Clinton Fields; and stepdaughter, Jackie Fields.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Donnie Buttree officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
