Roy Leon Randlett

Roy Leon Randlett Jr., 56, of Somerville, OH, went home to be with Jesus on September 27, 2026. He was born in Meridan, Connecticut on January 24, 1970 to Roy Randlett Sr and Rebecca (Vaughn) Randlett. Roy is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 34 years, Beth Ann Randlett; two sons Codey (Stephanie) Randlett and Kyle (Andy) Randlett; a sister, Brenda (Bill) Boyd; two grandchildren; niece and nephews; and his best friend, Chris Montique.

If you ever met Roy, you loved him and have a story to tell. He entered every room with a big smile and a loud, happy “Woooo!” Roy was a carpenter, who had a love for building. He had a strong faith for his Lord and Savior and was a hard-working provider for his family who rarely took a break. Roy had the heart of a servant and always found a way to help those around him. He loved cheering on his Pittsburg Steelers, spending time at the camp ground with his friends and family, playing with his Goons (dogs), riding his motorcycle, and challenging his friends to figure out, “Where am I?” on his travels with Beth. Roy was the example, someone to admire for who he was as a father, a husband, and a friend. He will truly be missed.

To honor a life lived so loudly and beautifully, family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Roy on Friday, October 2, 2026 at the Edgewood Baptist Church, 1010 W. State Street, Trenton, OH, from 2pm to 4pm with a funeral service following immediately at 4pm with Pastor Keith Risner officiating. The family would like to thank all of Roy's friends who have offered comfort to them during this time.
