Roy Edward Ratliff

Roy Edward Ratliff, age 90 of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, surrounded by family. Ed was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 21,1933 to Roy Pearl Ratliff and Mary Elizabeth (Anderson) Ratliff. He graduated from Dixon High School and worked various jobs in construction, retiring as a Construction Supervisor for Frank Messer & Sons Construction after 27 years of service in 1991.  He lived in Hamilton, Ohio most of his life but spent several years in Texas.

Ed is survived by his wife, Edna (Cole) Ratliff; children, Ed (Kay) Ratliff; Bob (Lynn) Ratliff; Linda Sandlin; Paula (Harold) Gentry; and Brenda (Rob Reiff) Lynch; Grandchildren; Mandy (Scott) Hampton; Jarrod Ratliff; Eric Ratliff; Robbie Ratliff; Justin (Miranda) Ratliff; James Ratliff; Jeff Sandlin; Sarah (Lee) Ballard; Tyler (Sarah) Gentry; Darren (Kerri) McDonald; Danny McDonald; Ashley (Chris) Markowski; and 22 Great-Grandchildren.   Stepson, Charlie (Michelle) Poe and Stepdaughter, Sherry (Tom) Lachtrupp; Step grandchildren; Dustin Nichols, William Nichols, and Krista Nichols; and 2 Step Great-Grandchildren

Ed was preceded in death by both parents and wife of 32 years, Betty Katherine (Webb) Ratliff, son-in-law, Barney Sandlin; brother, Robert Ratliff; sister, Betty Homer; sister, Cindy Ratliff; and 2 Step Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be private and held at a later date.
