Roy Robert Timmons, age 93 of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 8pm. Roy was born in Carroll, Ohio on September 4, 1924 to Ora and Alma Timmons. Roy was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army in Paris, France. On June 21, 1947 he married Elizabeth Marie Crabtree. He founded Matthew 25 Connection Ministries.
Roy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Libbie Timmons; his children, Treena (Brad) Newcomer, Leesa (Horst) Fleishmann, Jeffery (Patty) Timmons and Troy (Linda) Timmons; his 29 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren; his sister, Willa Payne, age 97 years. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; his daughters, Deeta Reyes, Nanette Holden, and Timi Holden.
Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Oxford Women’s Care Center, PO Box 1 Oxford, OH 45056.
