Ruby Jean Beverly

Ruby Jean Beverly, age 79 of Hamilton passed away at Tri-County Extended Care on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 9:40 AM. She was born in Bell County, Kentucky on September 12, 1933 the daughter of Lonzo and Rosie (Vaughn) Lowe. On August 8, 1956 in Tennessee, she married Oscar Beverly, and he preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by three daughters, Kim (Rick) Hurst, Linda Williams, and Brenda Beverly, all of Hamilton; one son, James Beverly of Hamilton; a brother, Earl (Carolyn) Lowe of Hamilton; three sisters, Joyce (Virgil) Templeton, Dora Hensley, both of Pineville, Kentucky, and Geraldine Neal of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, David, Darrell, and Danny Beverly; a daughter, JoAnn Beverly; two sisters, Pat Lowe and Bernice Hendricks; and two brothers, James and Perry Lowe.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Louise Turner of Full Gospel Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
