Ruby Burns

Ruby Burns, age 88 of Middletown, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 06:18PM. She was born in Rock Castle County, KY on March 6, 1927 to Parkie and Effie Young. Ruby was married to Paul Burns from Hazard, KY on December 9, 1949 until he passed away on August 8, 1987. Ruby had one son Melvin Dean Burns, two Daughters, Easter Westerfield and Lucille Burns Dunn and an adopted Daughter Deana Burns. Ruby had four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She had six sisters and one brother.

Funeral service will be held at Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 12PM with Dennis Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
