Ruby A. Smith

Ruby A. Smith, age 87 of Hamilton passed away at Wellington Manor on Thursday, December 24, 2009. She was born in Clay County, Kentucky on May 1, 1922 the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Scott) Hubbard.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn (Gerri) Smith of Forest Park and Stan (Karen) Warner of Hamilton; a daughter, Diana (Victor) Johantges of Springboro; a brother, Michael (Liz) Hubbard of Hamilton; a sister, Lucy Arnold of Hamilton; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Herbert C. Warner in 1956; her second husband, Albert C. Smith in 2008; two brothers, Joseph and William Hubbard; and a sister, Thelma Philpot.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Avenue, on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM.
